Nine Local Government Areas in Kogi East Senatorial District have united to support the All Progressive Congress APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Tinubu and his vice Kashim Shettima.
They are Ankpa, Olamaboro,Idah, Ofu, Ibaji, Dekina, Omala, Bassa and Igalamela/Odolu.
At a mega rally organised by the Chairman and National Coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima Ordained Movement in Ejule in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi state, the coordinator Alhaji Suleiman Isyaka said the event was to ensure victory for Tinubu and Shettima in the 2023 presidential election.
He explained that the mission of the group was to sensitise and generate votes for the APC presidential candidate, come February 2023.
He urged the people of the nine LGAs to exercise their rights at the poll for their presidential candidate of the APC.
The APC Chairman in Ofu Local Government Alhaji Yahaya Shagari commended Alhaji Isyaka for organising the laudable event by bringing all the party loyalists in Kogi East Senatorial District together.
He added that the act displayed by Isyaka showed that APC was in the right direction in bringing all the nine LGAs in Igala land together to support the Tinubu/Shettima Ordained Movement.
The Director General, National Coordinator Amalgamated APC Support Group, Dr. Nasiru Mohammed represented by the Director, Campaign and Mobilisation of the group Comrade Musa Otigba said a vote for Tinubu/Shettima was a vote for a renewed hope for Nigeria.
