Arsenal clean up at London Football Awards as Arteta, Odegaard, Saka and Ramsdale big winners
Arsenal have been recognised for their sublime form this season with a host of successes at the London Football Awards.
Manager Mikel Arteta was awarded for his fine work this season with the Manager of the Year gong, while Martin Odegaard took home the Premier League player award for a campaign in which he has managed 10 goals and seven assists already, beating off competition from the likes of Harry Kane.
Bukayo Saka was also nominated for the player of the year award but scooped up the Premier League Young Player of the Year award ahead of teammates Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba. Aaron Ramsdale completed the Gunners’ successful evening with the Goalkeeper of the Year Award.
There was also special recognition for the Lionesses’ achievement last summer, with the team awarded the Power of Football award for their Women’s Euro 2022 win. West Ham legend Mark Noble was also celebrated on the evening, as he was recognised for his incredible career with The Hammers through the Outstanding Contribution to London Football award.
The awards ceremony took place at the Roundhouse in Camden and was attended by several Arsenal ambassadors past and present. The Gunners sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League and will look to build on their success at the London Football Awards by winning their first Premier League title in nearly 20 years this season.
