
Jubilation has trailed the declaration of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigerian people’s party (NNPP), as winner of Kano state governorship election.
Some were seen by the road side chanting solidarity songs, riding on cars and motorcycles to show support to the newly elected governor.
Some Kano residents, who spoke to Radio Nigeria, Mariya Muhammad and Abuabakar Jibril prayed to Allah to guide and protect the new governor.
The streets of Kano has been thronged by residents who are celebrating the newly elected governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, from the New Nigeria people party (NNPP).
