
The Nigeria Navy has commissioned a 207 seater capacity auditorium, with 10 syndicate rooms, 3 briefing rooms and an operations room, at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, Kaduna State.
The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Auwal Zubairu Gambo, said the complex would address shortage of office space and provide necessary comfort to enhance teaching and learning in the state.
He described the initiative as a complete transformation plan for infrastructural development and effective performance of their constitutional mandate.
A former Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Suleiman Sa’idu who noted that maritime plays a crucial role towards the actualisation of the national defence objectives, expressed delight over the tremendous developmental projects, which has facilitated a more fulfilling learning environment.
Earlier, the Commandant of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, Air Vice Marshal Emmanuel Wonah disclosed that the complex was built to cater for the projected increase in the number of students for future courses.
