Singer Wande Cole has advised super stars in the industry to be friendly with the ‘new cats’ for better success.
Cole was reacting to a viral video by Afro beats star, Davido that he and Wizkid took the genre to global acclaim, describing Burna Boy and others as “new cats”.
The singer said the supposed “new cats” will take over the industry from the superstars, advising that it is in the best interest of all to remain on friendly terms.
The award-winning artiste, in a video, stated that the only way the current superstars can stay in market is to be in affiliation with the newbies.
He encouraged superstars to hold on to the new talents “That was what I did, no matter how big you are in the industry because they will be the one taking over the industry soon and you will only pop if you are still in tune and affiliated with them”
