Former professional Kickboxer Andrew Tate has been charged by the Romanian authority with rape, human trafficking and owning an organised crime group sexually exploiting women.
The controversial influencer who was charged alongside his brother, Tristan and two other associates have denied all the allegations.
In December, the Tate brothers were arrested at their home in Bucharest.
According to the Bucharest court, the Tate brothers and the two others used the group for human trafficking not only in Romania, but also in the US, UK and other countries.
Seven victims were named for alleged recruitment by the Tate brothers through deception of love and marriage.
The BBC reports that Andrew Tate has also been charged with raping one of the victims, while his brother has been charged with instigating others to violence.
The hearing is expected to last several years.
Sometimes back, Andrew Tate was also banned from some social media platforms due to his controversial opinions considered ‘misogynistic’ and ‘hate speech’.
