Chef Hilda Baci has officially been awarded a Guinness World Records (GWR) plaque for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
After 93 hours and 11 minutes of cooking, Hilda broke the record for the longest cookathon.
On Tuesday June 13th, GWR made an announcement confirming Baci as the new record holder.
A video of Baci accepting the plaque from a dispatch rider was posted on Instagram on Monday by an ecstatic Baci to announce the latest update.
Baci attempted to set a record of 100 hours, however, almost seven hours were deducted from her final total because she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her breaks.
The previous record of 87 hours 45 minutes was set by India-based Chef, Lata Tondon in 2019.
