Alhaji Kabir Yusuf, Governor of Kano State has directed all Commissioner nominees must comply with code of conduct rules.
Before forwarding the names to the State Assembly, the Governor urged the 19 nominees to disclose their assets without delay.
The governor said on Wednesday that no commissioner nominee would be sworn in as a cabinet member without completing the Code of Conduct Bureau’s asset declaration form.
“All other political appointees under this administration shall also comply with the directive accordingly,” he stated.
Governor Kabir Yusuf promised to promote transparency and accountability for good governance.
