
The Kano State Ministry of Education has declared one week break for schools in the state to mark Eid-el Kabir Sallah celebration.
The Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Malam Ahmad Tijjani Abdullahi declared the break in a statement issued to newsmen on Thursday by the Ministry’s Director, Public Enlightenment, Aliyu Yusuf.
This include all Day and Boarding Public and Private Primary as well as Post Primary Schools in Kano.
He said the break is to commence from Friday June 23 to Saturday July 1, noting that all pupils and students of boarding schools are to resume on Sunday July 2, while those in day schools are to resume on Monday July 3 respectively.
According to the statement, ” Parents and Guardians of Pupils and Students in the Boarding schools are to convey their wards home by the early hours of Friday”.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Malam Ahmad Tijjani Abdullahi wished them Happy Sallah festivities in advance.
