
Dikko Radda, the Governor of Katsina State, says that his administration will not give amnesty to terrorists in the state.
Radda made the remarks during a prayer session arranged by the state government to seek divine intervention against insecurity in the face of the state’s economic distress.
He stated that the administration had no plans to grant amnesty to terrorists.
”We are ready to receive them if they are willing to embrace peace and lay down their arms,” The Governor noted.
Governor Radda urged the clerics to focus their message on peace and working towards how to end the lingering security issues in the state.
He told the gathering “We need the cooperation of each and every member of the public to ensure that information is provided to us so that we can fish out the terrorists and criminals terrorizing the residents”.
According to Radda, a committee has been formed to ensure that only the most vulnerable people receive palliative care. He also stated that the Federal Government, led by President Bola Tinubu, is developing steps to offset the impact of the elimination of fuel subsidies.
Governor Radda, has assured citizens of the state that his administration is willing to provide palliatives to mitigate the impact of the spike.
