
The National Coordinator of the SERVICOM Office, Nnenna Akajemeli has called for open policy and transparency in procurement processes in Ministries, departments, and Agencies.
Mrs Akajemeli made the call in Abuja on Tuesday during a meeting on procurement processes.
She urged participants, comprised of the management team from SERVICOM and civil society organisations, to promote fairness and openness in bid processes.
Mrs Akajemeli explained that contractors and consultants must ensure compliance with the requirements of the Public Procurement Act 2007.
Head of Procurement at SERVICOM, Ngozi Akinbodewa said that the projects were in line with the capital Zip as captured in the appropriation– Improving Organizational Service Delivery Performance, Balance Score Card (Training) in Jos Plateau State.
She explained that capacity building on the customer service frontlines staff of selected hospitals in Benue State South Senatorial District and training the trainers of heads of selected schools on sustained service improvements in identified schools in Benue State South Senatorial District
Civil Society Organisations lauded SERVICOM for a transparent, free, and fair bid opening process and urged the Agency to continue its good work.
