In an exclusive interview with the camp director for the 2023 batch B stream ii orientation course, Mrs Ogunrayewa Uzoamaka who was hosted by the Orientation broadcasting service (OBS) to discuss the general activities happening around the camp community and NYSC at large.
Speaking further, the CD Mrs Ogunrayewa spoke intensively about herself, what motivated her to join the scheme and her drive to see young corps members go through the orientation course thereby fulfilling the mandates why the NYSC scheme was established.
She said, she has been in the scheme for a long time and have worked in different capacity of the scheme were she has served meritoriously till she rose to the rank of an AD HRM of the NYSC Lagos branch, she noted that since she assumed that position, she had imparted positively into the lives of corps members till date even as the camp director for the 2023 batch B stream 2.
Ogunrayewa said the reason why she choose the slogan “teamwork and optimal success” is because when two or more persons come together to work great success is achieved and as the saying goes together we stand and divided we fall.
She noted that most corps members will be saying after NYSC what next, yes, i will advise them to key into the NYSC SAED which was initiated by the NYSC to help eradicate poverty among the corps members after serving their father land.
In conclusion, she said although the work is tedious but that has not stopped her from unwinding and taking responsibility as a mother at home and she will urge all corps members to brass up and take responsibilities for themselves while enjoying the euphoria of camp activities.
