Bright Okpocha, also known as Basketmouth, a popular Nigerian comedian is seeking an end to the disagreement between himself and his colleagues especially, Ayo Makun (AY).
AY had over the years alleged that the quarrel with Basketmouth was over a debt of N30,000.
In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo in March 2023, AY claimed that earlier in his career, Basketmouth had invited him to take his place at a comedy show but alleged that after the show, Basketmouth failed to pay him the N30,000 fee for the performance.
Earlier, Basketmouth refused to respond to the allegation but on Monday in a viral video he apologised to industry players that he may have offended.
Basketmouth who specifically shoutout to AY, asked him to forgive him.
“To my guy AY, I don’t know if my apology is still valid right now, but if it is, please forgive me for whatever I have done or said in the past that affected you in any way and I want you to know that I have forgiven you for whatever you said or did, knowingly or unknowingly. I just want peace and harmony”, he said.
