
The Freedom Of Information Acts, FOIA CDS, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Lagos have elected a new set of executives to lead the Community Development Service,CDS Group.
The election, which took place on Thursday at the State Secretariat NYSC Lagos , marked the end of a successful tenure for the outgoing executives and a grand celebration of the passing out vanguards.
The election results were announced with much excitement and anticipation with Corps Member Alefia Friday James with state code LA/23A/0020 elected as President, corps member Ifeanyi Odunwa with state code LA/23A/3471, corps member Olabode Oluwatosin with state code LA/23A/6802 as the Secretary , corps member Oladipo Michael with state LA/23A/0020 as Assistant secretary, corps member Ifelade Ifedamola Lizzy with state code LA/23A/7005 as Treasurer, corps member Emmanuel AKAANGEE with state code LA/23A/7095as Financial Secretary, corps member Onyemere Winniefred with state code LA/23A/0225 as Director of Welfare, corps member Oyesanmi Aishat with state code LA/23A/1117 as Assistant Director of Welfare,corps member Ayobami Williams with state code LA/23A0971 as Public relations Officer and Corps member Adekusibe Tomi with state code LA/23A/0077 as the assistant P.R.O
The new executive members are charged with the responsibility of steering the affairs of FOIA NYSC Lagos, and they are poised to make a positive impact in their roles.

Addressing the CDS group members immediately after the elections, the coordinator of the group, Mrs. Seun Osinoiki charged the newly elected executives to work in synergy to achieve the purpose of the group urging them to strive for positive change and perform their functions with utmost dedication.

She also congratulated the outgoing passing out vanguards on their successful completion of their one year compulsory National service and charged them to remain good ambassadors as they continue to their new phase of life.

The event was not only a farewell but also a celebration, as the vanguards came together for Presentation of gifts items, group pictures, games, and a general knowledge quiz that revolved around the Freedom of Information Act, NYSC, and more with prizes attached . It was a testament to the pursuit of knowledge that the FOIA community stood for.
