The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Saad Abubakar has directed the Muslims in the country to start looking for the new crescent of Jumada Ula 1445 AH, today the 13 of November 2023, equivalent to Islamic Calendar 29th of Rabi’ul Assani 1445 AH.
In a statement signed by the Chairman Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs Sultanate Council Sokoto, Prof. Sambo Junaidu says if sighted, the information should be reported to the nearest district or village head for onward communication to the Sultan
