The Amalgamated Union of Motor Mechanics of Nigeria has successfully trained over 5,000 artisans in the conversion process of vehicles from petrol to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
This is in line with the federal government’s initiative to transition automobiles from petrol to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
Comrade Suleiman highlighted the importance of government support for the initiative, urging both the federal and state governments, particularly the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Administration, to provide necessary assistance.
”The Union seeks adequate working tools and a conducive environment for its members and other artisans involved in the conversion of vehicles”, he said.
Comrade Suleiman maintained that in addition to promoting the shift to CNG, the Union has also launched a campaign against counterfeit spare parts across the country.
He pledged the commitment of the Union towards the success of the Tinubu Administration’s ‘renewed hope agenda’ mantra.
