
The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) says dependents of contributors to the fund will get their compensation without delay.
The Managing Director of the Fund, Mrs Maureen Allagoa, stated this at a meeting with the Nigerian Immigration Service in Abuja.
Mrs Allagoa said the families of two staff members of the Nigerian Immigration Service who died in service would receive their compensation.
She maintained that the children of any enrolee will be taken care of by the Fund until the last child attains the age of 21.
Mrs Allagoa said the compensation would be paid if the incident was reported within 21 days and documented.
Acting Comptroller General of Immigration Service, Mrs Wura-Ola Adepoju represented by Deputy Comptroller General Dora Amahian, Mrs Adepoju, promised to collaborate with NSITF for the benefit of its workers.
