The Director General of Delta State Capital TerritoryDevelopment Agency (DSCTDA), Chief Patrick Ukah,has vowed to sustain the policy of strict monitoring of ongoing road projects to ensure their timely completion.
Chief Patrick Ukah, who spoke during an inspection of ongoing projects within the Agency’s mandate area, said the agency was focused on completing all ongoing road projects in the state.
The DG said the inspection of the on-going projects was necessary in order to ensure that the projects were executed in accordance with the contract specifications.
The projects inspected include: The construction of Ogbotobo road by city complex, Asaba; Palace Road, off Anwai road by Government House, all in Oshimilli South Local Government Area.
Ukah expressed satisfaction with the work done by the contractors handling the projects but charged them to put more effort into their work.
Although some challenges were identified by the DG during the inspection, and the Engineer in charge of the job took note of them and promised to do all the corrections pointed out by the DG.
