
On November 2, 2024, the wife of the Chairman of Ethiope East Local Government Council, Deaconess Mrs. Favour Ogedegbe, visited several orphanage homes in the Ethiope East Local Government Area as part of the activities marking her husband’s 100 days in office.
She donated foodstuffs, sanitary pads, and diapers to the needy.
In her goodwill message to the management, staff, and children of the orphanages, Deaconess Ogedegbeexpressed gratitude for their prayers and support for her husband. She emphasized that the council’s administration prioritizes the needs of the less privileged and orphans, assuring them of continued support.
She encouraged them to maintain good conduct and not to lose hope, reminding them that Christ is a protector and provider for the vulnerable. Mrs. Ogedegbe praised the dedication of the staff and management, commending their valuable work in caring for the children.
The orphanages visited included Dominion Orphanage Home in Ovu, Shepherd Care Orphanage Home in Eku, Light of Christ Orphanage Home in Abraka, and Holy Child Orphanage Home in Erho Abraka
