Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, through his representative, Prince Kelly Penawou, the Honourable Commissioner Directorate of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs on Tuesday, inaugurated several key projects in Ethiope East Local Government Council Secretariat in Isiokolo.
This was part of the celebration marking Ogedegbe’s 100 days in office as Chairman of Ethiope East.
Prince Penawou, who conveyed the Governor’s goodwill message, commended Ogedegbe’s visionary leadership and rapid developmental strides. He noted that within just 100 days, numerous projects had been completed, this demonstrates Ogedegbe’s commitment to serving the people of Ethiope East.
He also emphasized the large turnout of supporters and dignitaries at the event as a clear indication of the solid support they have for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the area.
The event was graced by several prominent personalities, including traditional rulers, political leaders, and clergy members. Among the dignitaries present were His Royal Majesty, HRM Mike Omeru Ogurimerime, Ukori I, the Ovie of Agbon Kingdom; HRM Lucky Ochuko Ararile, Awaeke I, the Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom; HRM Akpomeyoma Majoroh, the Ovie of Oruarivie Abraka Kingdom; as well as top government officials such as Prof. Nyerhovwo Tonukari, Commissioner for Higher Education; Chief Bernard Edewor; Hon. Chief Sunny Emeyese; Hon. Chief Tony Oboroh, Chief Mike Adiotomre, and many others.
