The Delta state capital Territory Development Agency Environmental task force concluded cleanup of the koka flyover by engaging manual labourers to clean the excreta on top of the bridge as part of its effort to end open defecation.
The Director General of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency Hon Patrick Ukah, who was represented by the Head of Environment Mr. Isaac Nwosu, disclosed this during the exercise, stressingthat “the state government has set up a taskforce to arrest offenders for roadside defecation,” while warning the public against the act.
As earlier reported, the Delta State Capital territory Development Agency Environmental taskforce, waste management taskforce and Taskforce on Environment has started clean up on all the major roads within the capital Territory.
