The General Manager, Delta State Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, STOWASSA, Engr Anthony Unuafe has been conferred with the Fellowship of the Nigeria Society of Engineers, FNSE, the highest professional recognition in the Engineering practice in the country.
The president, Nigeria Society of Engineers, Engr Margaret Oguntala, on Monday, presented the award to Unuafe at an impressive ceremony which includedfellowship induction and a public lecture held at theAbuja Trade and Convention Center.
While conferring Unuafe with the fellowship, the president stated that NSE award is one of the highest ordinances of Engineers, charging awardees to take the gesture as a call to higher responsibility in the Engineering profession.
She stated further that Engr Unuafe was found worthy not only in knowledge and character, but also in practice, to deserve the admission into the board of fellows of the distinguished society of engineers.
Responding, Engr Unuafe described the NSE fellowship as a further challenge to do more for the engineering profession through selfless service especially in the water sector for the development of Nigeria.
