
The Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government, Hon. Jaro Egbo has charged the enlisted participants of the Delta State “MORE BIZUP Programme” to leverage on the training to enhance their skills and contribute meaningfully to the economic development of the state.
Egbo gave this charge during the flag off of the training programme organized by the Delta State Job and Wealth Creation Bureau, strictly for participants drawn from Ughelli/Udu federal Constituency, held at the Ughelli North Council Secretariat Hall on Thursday.
The Council Chairman in his address commended the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and the Director- General of Job and Wealth Creation Bureau, Comrade Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, for their visionary leadership and commitment to human capital development.
The Council Boss emphasized the critical role of skill acquisition and capacity building in driving sustainable economic growth and nation building.
“The importance of acquiring new skills and knowledge cannot be overemphasized. It is through such initiatives that we can empower individuals, upscale businesses and collectively contribute to the economic prosperity of our state.”
According to the Council Boss, the training aims at equipping participants with contemporary skills, enhancing business capacity and fostering entrepreneurship growth which is in tandem with the State Governor’s vision for a robust economic development through strategic human capital development.
