Founder and General Overseer of Promise Kingdom Ministry, also known as “Overflow Chapel,” His Royal Eminence, Archbishop Godday Iboyi, has called on Christians all over the world to embrace soul–winning.
Archbishop Iboyi made this call on Sunday during the Church’s Annual Harvest Thanksgiving Service with the theme: “The Great Commission,” at St Dora Cathedral, Overflow Chapel, Okwovwori Amukpe, in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
Taking his sermon from Matthew 10:1-42, Archbishop Godday Iboyi noted that Christ had commanded believers to be actively involved in soul–winning, adding that believers should win souls to God through their character and finance by giving to the work of God and the less privileged.
Iboyi also called on spiritual leaders and fathers to continue to pray for the peace and development of Delta State and Nigeria, while noting that Nigeria would get better in 2025.
Speaking to journalists after the Thanksgiving Service, Bishop Precious Akpore, aka “e de work,” described archbishop Godday Iboyi as a great leader he has so much trust and respect for, while calling on Christians to always give thanks to God.
“He is not just a spiritual leader of Okpe Kingdom but a great leader I have so much trust in. I am so happy to be here to celebrate with him and I’m exceedingly blessed and we are grateful to God for keeping us,” Bishop Akpore said.
However, His Royal Eminence led members out with their thanksgiving offerings to appreciate God Almighty for his goodness and blessings in their life throughout the year.
