As part of efforts to curb insecurity in Mosogarcommunity in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, the Ovie of Mosogar kingdom, HRM Sunday Okpurhe, has donated to the Youth body of the community a sienna bus to help aid their fight against insecurity in the Kingdom.
While handing over the vehicle to the youths at his palace in Mosogar, the traditional ruler noted that getting a vehicle for the youth body became paramount as the Youths needed mobility to help aid their job while working in collaboration with the security agencies in fighting crime and insecurity in the area.
He urged the Youths to make use of the vehicle for the purpose of which it was donated, ensuring crime is brought to the barest minimum in the locality.
The Ethiope West Council Chairman, Hon Christian Onogba, who was also present at the palace, commended the Monarch for his love and passion towards the growth and progress of the MosogarKingdom.
Onogba reiterated that his administration would continue to work with the three kings in the three kingdoms that make-up Ethiope West towards finding lasting solutions to the security challenges in the Local Government.
The Ugo of Mosogar Kingdom, Chief Freeborn Nana also appreciated the Royal Father for always putting the interest of the Kingdom first in every area.
He promised the King that the ‘Oguedion’ Council of Chiefs and Elders will continue to give the full support needed for the smooth and peaceful reign of the King.
Highlight of the event was the official handing over of the vehicle to the youth body through the youth president, Comr. Oki Ebeigbe.
