
Warri South Local Government Council in Delta State and the Master Generous Philanthropy Foundation, in a remarkable show of commitment to education, have collaborated to support the pupils of Ikengnuwa Primary School, Ajamimogha, Warri, by providing essential learning materials.
The event was attended by key government officials, including the Vice Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre; the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Nunu and the Supervisor for Human Capital, Hon. Misan Eke.
According to Hon. Nunu, the initiative reflects the local government’s ongoing dedication to providing quality education in a conducive environment—a vision that continues to inspire partnerships within and beyond the local government area. He emphasized that their presence underscored the government’s unwavering commitment to improving education and ensuring that children have access to the necessary tools for learning.
Items distributed included essential school supplies such as school bags, books, shoes, uniforms, water cans, white marker boards, and other learning materials.
Addressing the pupils, the Chairman of the Master Generous Foundation, Mr. Jeffery Amorighoye, urged them to be “true ambassadors of the Nigeria of our collective dreams”. He emphasized that education is the key to unlocking opportunities and achieving their aspirations, encouraging them to stay dedicated to their studies.
He added that partnership between the Warri South Local Government and the Master Generous Foundation highlights the power of collaborative efforts in strengthening education. By investing in the future of young learners, they are laying the foundation for a brighter and more prosperous society.
