The Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Barr. Jaro Egbo has pledged his full support for military personnel posted to the local government area in order for them to have a hitch – free operation in the area.
Egbo Stated this on Monday when he received the newly posted commander/ Head of Operations, Amphibious Battalion of the Nigerian Army, Ughelli North Command, Major Abdusalem, in his office at the Council Secretariat.
The visit was intended to formally open the line of communication with the Council Boss and build a strong, cordial working relationship with him and the Amphibious Battalion, Ughelli North Command, for smooth operation and effective discharge of their duties.
Egbo reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to partnering with the Nigerian Army and other security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and properties of residents, stressing that security is indispensable for the growth and development of a society.
