
In a bid to revive, rebuild and bring succour and prosperity to the people of Warri South local government area, the Chairman of Warri South local government Weyinmi Agbateyiniro has promised to make life easy for her indigenes and residents.
The Warri South Council chairman made the remarks in his office at the Warri South Secretariat when traders whose shops were burnt at Igbudu market visited him in his office to thank him for rebuilding the burnt market to a better standard.
“Your intervention has brought relief to all of us,” as Nupe marketers thanked the chairman.
One of the traders said: “We had lost hope, but you came through for us and we now have a better structure, beautiful and stronger than we had before.”
While responding, the Warri South Council Chairman, Weyinmi Agbateyiniro said he is committed to taking further steps in assisting affected traders regain their loss.
“We will review the committee’s report and ensure we support you some more.”
