ImpActGlobal Resources, in collaboration with the Centre for Values in Leadership (CVL), recently hosted the CEO Summit 2025 at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The high-profile gathering brought together chief executives from across Nigeria, industry leaders, top executives, and forward-thinking innovators. This year’s theme, “Future-Ready Leadership”, was carefully chosen to spotlight the need for leaders to embrace transformation in business, leadership, and innovation in today’s fast-changing world.
Speaking at the event, convener Rume Daniels, a respected entrepreneur and business consultant from Uvwie Local Government Area in Delta State, emphasized the importance of preparing CEOs to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
“We are in a world now being redefined by Artificial Intelligence (AI), and with the rise of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and the emergence of Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI), the way we do business is evolving faster than ever before,” Daniels said. “This summit was designed to challenge and expand the thinking of CEOs on what it truly means to be future-ready.”
One of the keynote speakers, Mr. Victor Afolabi, Group CEO of Hazon Holdings, stressed the need for businesses to become efficiency-driven, adaptable, and consistently innovative.
“To stay ahead, companies must embrace tools that enhance both professionalism and productivity,” he said. “It’s not just about having systems in place, but about ensuring those systems are evolving and agile enough to meet today’s global demands.”
Mr. Afolabi urged CEOs to take full advantage of cost-effective yet highly efficient technologies to enhance performance across their entire value chain.
“Leadership in today’s business landscape demands strategic technology adoption that fuels growth without compromising efficiency,” he noted.
In his closing remarks, Rume Daniels challenged all attendees to move beyond inspiration and take bold steps toward implementation.
“It’s one thing to gather insights and strategies; it’s another to act on them. Execution is the bridge to sustainable growth,” he said.
Other distinguished speakers at the summit included renowned political economist Prof. Pat Utomi, business leader Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, and leading executive coach Dr. Niyi Adesanya.
