Hon. Goddey Sefia, Councillor representing Udu DSIEC Ward 11, Ovwian Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta Statehas commissioned four mega water projects in his constituency, while also empowering 20 dedicated party faithfuls with cash gifts of ₦20,000 each.
The event, which took place on Wednesday 11th June 2025 in Ovwian community, the projects, located at the four quarters of the community, namely Uduvwurhie, Ozimi, Ekrimowhe, and Owhoro Quarters, aim to alleviate water scarcity and improve sanitation for residents.
Hon. Sefia emphasized that the projects are part of his commitment to delivering on the MORE AGENDA of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. He thanked his political mentors, Hon. Dr. Henry Sakpra and Elder Peter Okpikpi, for their support and guidance.
The Councillor acknowledged the foundation laid by his predecessor, Hon. Daniel Jigbale, and expressed gratitude to the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Apunu Henry, for his brotherly support. Hon. Sefia reaffirmed his commitment to doing more for the community and lauded the Udu Council boss, Hon Vincent Oyibode, for his developmental strides.
Some of the beneficiaries, Elohor Ovedje and Lucky Kasoro appreciated the kind gesture of Hon Sefia and prayed God’s blessings upon him.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Hon. Chief Dr. Henry Sakpra, Rt. Hon. Apunu Henry, and Elder Peter Okpikpi, among others. They commended Hon. Sefia for his efforts and encouraged other legislators to replicate his initiatives
