Delta State Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Mininim Oseji has expressed appreciation to the “Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries” for extending a hand of fellowship to her on her assumption of office.
Dr. Oseji who commended the Association for visiting, promised to always consult them for advice as she was interested in what made them efficient and effective when they were in service.
While noting that they achieved so much during their tenure, she promised to sustain the tempo in honor of her predecessors for a more robust and balanced civil service.
Speaking on behalf of the Association, a retired Permanent Secretary, Reverend Agbeyeke, revealed that a committee was constituted to pay the courtesy visit on the HOS.
According to them, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility to give back to society that which they have been given, their mandate was to submit a proposal for the training of civil servants on what the service is about and how the knowledge acquired can be applied to their jobs.
Mr. P. Ukperi, Mr. P. N. Isibor and Mr. L.O Kekema were among the retired Permanent Secretaries that visited the Head of Service of Delta State.
