Hon. David Eterhi, Deputy Leader of the Udu Legislative Arm and Councillor representing DSIEC Ward 05, has embarked on a tour of various schools in Udu to sensitize students on the importance of shunning violence and immoral behaviors.
In his address to the students of Ubogo and Emadadja secondary schools, Hon. Eterhi spoke extensively on the dangers of cultism, examination malpractice, truancy, disobedience to teachers, sexual harassment, and destruction of school property. He urged the students to embrace discipline, focus, and excellence as tools for personal and academic advancement.
As part of his commitment to supporting education, Hon. Eterhi distributed writing materials and sandals to some indigent students. He also condemned the attitude of some students who bring their parents to fight teachers in school and warned that such behavior will no longer be tolerated.
The Deputy Leader encouraged students to be of good conduct, avoid coming late to school, and emphasized that education is the gateway to success. The principals, teachers, and students of the visited schools expressed gratitude to Hon. Henry Eterhi and his team, praying for God’s blessings upon them.
The sensitization tour marks the beginning of a broader campaign aimed at restoring values and curbing moral decay among students across secondary schools in Udu Local Government.
