The Head of Service of Delta State, Dr (Mrs) Mininim Oseji has vowed to continue to thank and glorify the Almighty God for his unwavering support and His immeasurable love showered on her and the entire civil servants in the state.
The Head of Service made the vow at the 2025 civil service week “Thanksgiving Service” which was held at the Church of God Mission District Headquarters, Asaba.
Noting that the Civil Service Week Celebration has been very successful, Dr Oseji declared that She and the entire representatives of the Public Service of Delta State had come to the Church to thank God for making the Week a success.
While recalling that five weeks ago they were also at the church to thank God for her elevation to the post of the Head of Service, she prayed for God’s blessings and direction to be successful as she leads the entire workforce to an enviable height.
Speaking earlier, Bishop Dickson Obahon advised Christians to always allow God’s word to speak to them as they must listen more and pray that he leads them through his guidance and direction.
Presenting Archbishop Margaret Idahosa’s message of love and appreciation to the congregation, Bishop Obahon explained that experience is not independent of God’s leadings. He therefore called on all Christians to be rededicated and recommitted to God as he was dependable and trustworthy.
He concluded by praying for civil servants who have laboured to enjoy the fruit of their labor as their time in service shall be a reference point.
The Thanksgiving Service which rounded off the Week-long activities of the civil service week celebration was concluded with Choir Ministration and Offerings to the Church by civil servants who were present.
Chairman of the Bureau For State Pensions, Sir Edwin Ogidi Gbegbaje, Permanent Secretaries, office of the Head of Service, Government House Affairs and Protocol, Mr Maxwell Ause, Mr Victor Udi and Mr Anino Tetsola, respectively; the Accountant General of the state, Mr Victor Okunbor and a host of other Permanent Secretaries, directors and Civil Servants also graced the occasion.
