The Nigeria National League Super 8) began on July 5–12, 2025, at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba and ended throughout the weekend with intense competition in the quarterfinals and semi-finals. Warri Wolves, Osun United, Crown FC, Kun Khalifa FC (Owerri), Wikki Tourists, Yobe Desert Stars, Doma United, and Barau FC were among the qualifying teams vying for NPFL promotion. As the brackets got closer to the final four promotions, Asaba’s stadium saw crowded crowds and close matches. In cooperation with Delta State officials, NNL Chairman George Aluo promised well-managed logistics and an exciting tournament with no dull moments.
