The Commissioner for Economic Planning Mr Sonny Ekedayen has emphasized that a life of impact is one that inspires others and that investing in people who can lead with clarity and empathy is the greatest legacy we can leave.
Mr. Ekedayen gave the heartfelt advice at the burial ceremony of the late Mrs Faith Anyafulu, held in Ashaka Ndokwa East LGA of Delta State.
He encouraged the children to uphold and emulate the good virtues of their mother, so as to keep her memory and legacy alive for years to come.
Earlier Pastor Nehemiah Aroh of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Utagba-ogbe Kwale delivered a sermon titled Living in reality with eternity in view.
He urged Christians to emulate the ways of Jesus Christ and emphasized that the earthly choices made by men will have eternal consequences.
Pastor Aroh anchored his message on Philippians chapter 3 verses 20 to 21, highlighting humanity’s spiritual nature and the need for salvation through Jesus Christ.
Pastor Aroh stated that no earthly means can cleanse sins, but only the blood of Jesus can. He encouraged all to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, warning that God’s judgment awaits after death.
Mrs. Ubege Omenogor secretary to the commissioner for economic planning and Eze Anyafulu, who spoke on behalf of their siblings paid glowing tribute to their mother, eulogizing her as a devout, compassionate, and affectionate person who was dedicated to her responsibilities.
They stated that her demise at 82 has left a void in their lives, but they take solace in the fact that her exemplary qualities will continue to inspire them.
