The Diokpa-Isi of Okpanam community, Snr. Apostle Joseph Igwuagu Aniyei has commended the councillor representing Okpanam DISIEC ward 12, Hon. Jeffery Sunday Mordi and the Ezeudo of Ihiala who doubles as the Omeliora of Okpanam, High Chief Stanley Obodoagwu for impacting the community positively.
Aniyei made the commendaton at his Ogbeozoma residence , Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State when Hon. Mordi paid him a courtesy visit to present cash token and some items from he and the Omelioria to celebrate the new yam festival for the Okpanam oldest man.
He described the gesture as a mark as a welcome development and a sign of respect and regard for him , adding that he had been inundated with the developmental drive of the councillor in the community.
Aniyei, who prayed God to strengthen and bless Hon. Mordi and the Ezeudo of Ihiala , stressing that whoever recognizes Diokpa, would receive blessings from God .
He used the people of Okpanam community to be peaceful during and after the new yam festival , just as he prayed for the progress and development of the community.
Earlier, Hon. Mordi , who is the Chief Whip of Oshimili North Legislative Arm informed the Diokpa-Isi that they were in his home to celebrate the new yam festival for him .
Hon. Mordi said that High Chief Stanley Obodoagwu, the Ezeudo of Ihiala and the Omeliora of Okpanam had continued to demonstrate the love he has for the good people of Okpanam, noting that his vision aligned with that of the Ezeudo for the upliftment of humanity.
Meanwhile, Hon. Mordi was at the Ugoani’s palace to join the Okpanam monarch, HRM Dr. Michael Mbanefo Ogbolu and the good people of Okpanam community to receive the Senator representing Delta North at National Assembly, Senator Ned Nwoko where the traditional ruler appreciated the councillor and the Omelioria for their unwavering commitment towards the growth and development of the community.
