
The Pastor of Living Faith Church, aka, Winners Chapel, Elume -Sapele, Pastor Ambrose Idowu Ogana has visited Oviorie and Okpara – inland in Ethiope East local Government Area of Delta State where he distributed 300 wrappers and 100 clothing materials to widows and infants as part of activities to mark his birth anniversary.
Speaking during the visit to St Matthew’s Catholic Church, Oviorie and Christ the King Catholic Church, Okpara Inland, venues of the ceremony, Pastor Ogana thanked the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Solomon Mbahaotu for his warm reception and the widows of the community for turning out in their large numbers for the ceremony.
He informed them that his visit was to share wrappers to the widows and clothes to infants to mark his birth anniversary, saying that it is an event he carries out every year to different places as directed by God Almighty.
According to Pastor Ogana, “it is a covenant I entered with God eleven years ago to share gifts to widows, prisoners, orphanages and infants during my birthday anniversary. I started when things were rough with my family with three widows and two infants, but today the number has increased to the glory of God.
Ogana further noted that he had visited Oghara, Jesse, Sapele and Agbor, adding that this year, God directed him to Ethiope East to share gifts of wrappers and clothes to the widows and children in Oviorie and Okpara inland.
He urged them to accept the gifts with joy and happiness, praying that God will bless and favour them as they use the wrappers and protect the infants who will also wear the clothes.
Rev. Fr Solomon Mbahaotu, who spoke earlier at Oviorie and Okpara inland thanked Pastor Ogana for the visit and his generosity, saying that it attracts great blessings from God.
The Cleric noted that the best way to celebrate birthday anniversaries is to give gifts to others, quoting from the scripture in the book of Matthew, he said, “God blesses those who provide for the widows.”
He advised the recipients as they receive the gifts to always remember Pastor Ogana and his family in their prayers for God to bless and replenish him.
The visit climaxed with a refreshment to the widows in each of the communities as provided by Pastor Ambrose Ogana.
