
The Delta State government has announced plans to host the 2025 Delta Tech Week with the theme “Building Delta’s Digital World,” from December 1 to December 5, 2025, in Asaba, the state capital.
The Commissioner for Science and Technology, Dr. Daniel Odinigwe made this announcement during a press briefing at the Prof. Chike Edozien Secretariat, Asaba, on Monday.
According to the Commissioner, the Tech Week, which is being organized by the Delta State Government in collaboration with the Delta State Tech Ecosystem, is aimed at placing Delta State at the forefront of technological advancement and innovation.
He stated that the event would serve as a platform for Deltans, both at home and in the diaspora, to showcase their technical expertise adding that it will also provide an opportunity for emerging innovators and developers who are not yet widely recognized to gain visibility.
Dr. Odinigwe revealed that the week-long event will feature exhibitions, talk shows, a summit as well as interactive sessions.
He expressed his appreciation to the partners driving the initiative, commending their zeal, passion, and enthusiasm noting that there would be no barriers to participation.
