The Chairman of Warri North Local Government Council, Hon. Festus Ashima, has harped on the need for community leaders to maintain peace and unity in their domain.
Hon. Ashima made this known during the outcome of the just concluded Obitugbo Community Trust, Youth body elections, and the selection of the community head, popularly known as ‘Olare-Aja.’
Welcoming the new Olare-Aja elect of the community, Pa. Bodrick Okotie,Hon. Ashima urged the newly elected Obitugbo Community Trustee, and Youth body principal officers to foster harmony among their opponents in the just concluded elections.
He noted that building bridges and promoting understanding among all parties is essential for the community’s continued growth and development.
The Warri North Council boss further urged all stakeholders of the community to collaborate in navigating the future of the community to ensure measurable success.
The newly elected community Trust Association chairman Mr. Joseph Akuyoma and the newly elected community youth chairman Mr. Godfrey Utieyin and their executive officers thanked the Warri North chairman for ensuring the smooth conduct of the elections avowing their determination to serve the community without pride or prejudice.
