The Commissioner for Technical Education in Delta State, Mr Smart Ufoh, has charged Principals and Vice Principals of Technical Colleges to innovate and develop strategies to equip students with relevant skills for growth and development. This was stated at a 2-day workshop in Asaba, themed “Innovating Technical Education to achieve the M.O.R.E Agenda For a Sustainable Future.”
The Commissioner emphasized the need for innovation in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) curriculum to align with the rapidly changing 21st-century workforce. He encouraged participants to be mentors, visionaries, and drivers of transformation.
The Head of Service of Delta State, Dr (Mrs) Mininim Oseji, also highlighted the importance of innovation in equipping students with relevant skills for the 21st-century transformation. She urged participants to embrace professionalism and innovation for efficient service delivery.
