It is with immense pride and joy that the 1990-1994 set, Nigeria Bar Association, Asaba hosting group, led by Julia Utulu, a revenue court Judge and an ardent ADR practitioner, Delta State Judiciary, honour their own distinguished Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Omamuzo Erebe, following his elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN.
In his remark, Mrs Julia Utulu described Erebe’s elevation to Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) as a “round peg in a round hole” just as she expressed the excitement of many lawyers who were thrilled to see his elevation.
“You have consistently demonstrated that with relentless, hard work, deep intellectual rigour, and an unshakeable character, one can reach the very pinnacle of their chosen field.
In his response, Erebe warmly welcomed the delegation from the 1990-1994 host group and expressed appreciation for their visit and support. He emphasised the importance of working together to ensure that the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, remains a platform for unity, professional growth, and the advancement of Justice in Nigeria.
It will be recalled that Mr. Omamuzo Erebe, SAN, was on 29th September 2025 sworn in alongside 56 other distinguished lawyers as Senior Advocates of Nigeria by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Kudirat Motonmori Olatokunbo Kekere-Ekun. At the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Abuja.
