The Nigerian Army has commended the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Isaac Agbateyiniro, for his proactive approach to peacebuilding and security management in the Council Area.
The commendation was given when the Brigadier General of the 63 Battalion, Brigadier General Moronfolu Shonibare, paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman in his office in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta.
Brigadier General Shonibare lauded Agbateyiniro for his consistent efforts in fostering a peaceful environment, noting that the stability enjoyed in Warri South is a direct result of his administration’s collaboration with security agencies and community stakeholders.
He further emphasized the importance of sustaining the synergy between the council authorities and the military in addressing security concerns, adding that such partnership remains vital for protecting lives, property, and economic activities in the area.
In his response, Hon. Agbateyiniro thanked the Nigerian Army for its continued support and assured that his administration would not relent in promoting peaceful coexistence, strengthening local security structures, and enhancing community engagement for lasting peace.
