The Head of Service of Delta State, Dr. Mininim Oseji, has urged Directors to build a modern, responsive Civil Service that meets 21st-century governance demands.
She made this call at a one-day seminar on “Enhancing Leadership and Administrative Capacity in the Civil Service” in Asaba.
Dr. Oseji emphasized the need for Directors to lead with integrity, adapt to new realities, and foster teamwork to inspire confidence and trust among citizens.
The seminar covered topics like leadership management, artificial intelligence, and time management, aiming to transform the public service.
Resource persons who shared insights on leadership qualities, time management, and Artificial intelligence with participants engaging actively in the discussions included Dr Afolabi Adun, Engineer Meshach Ozah and Mr Oladele Shadare.
The Permanent Secretary, Mr. Kingsley Olomukoro, thanked Dr. Oseji for her commitment to capacity building and commended the Center for Education Development for the well-structured lectures.
