The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Emmanuel Sedeso Abe I, JP, OON, has conferred a chieftaincy title on Chief Emewakeme Mike as the Onowarodo R’Uvwie Kingdom.
The conferment ceremony, which formed part of activities marking the monarch’s 18th coronation anniversary, was held on Saturday February at the Ovie Palace in Uvwie Kingdom, Delta State. Chief Onowarodo, a distinguished son of the Emewakeme family 7th of Ogoni community in Uvwie Kingdom, has served invarious capacities within the Local government Area.
He previously served as Secretary of the Ekpan Employment Committee and also as Supervisory Councilor for Education in the Uvwie Local Government Council.
Speaking shortly after receiving the title, Chief Onowarodo pledged to collaborate with relevant authorities and stakeholders to promote peace and stability in the community
