The Executive Director of Projects at the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Olorogun Dr. Ebenezer Okorodudu, has congratulated Chief Solomon Arenyeka on his emergence as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State chapter.
Arenyeka’s victory came at the just concluded APC Congress held at the Cenotaph in Asaba.
In a congratulatory statement issued in Asaba on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, Okorodudu described Arenyeka’s emergence as well deserved and a reflection of his years of dedication to party development and grassroots mobilization.
He expressed confidence that the new chairman would provide purposeful leadership capable of strengthening the party’s structure across the state.
Okorodudu noted that he has known Chief Arenyeka for over two decades and attested to his leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to political growth.
According to him, Arenyeka, a prominent chief of Warri Kingdom, has consistently demonstrated administrative competence and political maturity in various capacities he has occupied.
He further described the chairman as a sound administrator, an astute politician, and a man of fairness and wisdom who plays a fatherly role wherever he finds himself. Okorodudu emphasized that Arenyeka’s calm disposition and inclusive leadership style have earned him respect among party faithful and political associates.
Recalling their past working relationship, Okorodudu stated that he once served alongside Arenyeka as State Publicity Secretary under the defunct Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He described him as an intellectual, writer, and gifted orator whose contributions significantly impacted party communication and strategy at the time.
The DESOPADEC Executive Director concluded by urging party members to rally behind Arenyeka to promote unity and strengthen the APC in Delta State. He expressed optimism that under his leadership, the party would witness greater cohesion and renewed commitment toward achieving its collective goals.
