
In an emotional statement, the CEO of Akwaamaka media, High Chief Stanley Chukwudi Obodoagwu( Gburugburu na Ihiala), has announced his plans for his father’s burial in Ihiala, Anambra State on Tuesday through Thursday.
High Chief Obodoagwu spoke to reporters at his home town in Akwa Ezike village in Ihiala, where he outlined the details of the burial ceremony. He stated that the burial ceremony would be held at his family’s compound in Ihiala and that preparations were in full swing to ensure that the ceremony was a success.
“I am deeply saddened by the loss of my father, but I am also determined to give him a befitting burial,” High Chief Obodoagwu said. “My father was a great man who dedicated his life to his family, community. It is only right that we give him a fitting farewell.”
The burial ceremony is expected to be attended by family members, friends, and associates of High Chief Obodoagwu from across Nigeria and beyond. The CEO also revealed that there would be a series of events leading up to the burial, including a service of songs and a wake-keeping ceremony.

“We are expecting a large turnout of people for the burial ceremony, so we have made arrangements to ensure that everything goes smoothly,” High Chief Obodoagwu stated. “We have engaged the services of security personnel to maintain law and order and ensure the safety of everyone in attendance.”
The CEO also expressed his gratitude to the many people who had reached out to offer their condolences and support during this difficult time. He stated that the outpouring of love and support had been overwhelming and had given him the strength to carry on.
High Chief Obodoagwu concluded his statement by urging everyone to continue to observe all the necessary Security measures.
The burial kicks off from 11th April with Christian wake Keep, burial service on 12th April and other programs that will run through 16th April.
The burial ceremony of High Chief Obodoagwu’s father is expected to be a grand affair, a fitting tribute to a man who lived a life of service and left behind a lasting legacy.
