

The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami has described the allegation on purported sale of 48 million barrels of crude oil in China as baseless , unfounded and lacks merit.
The Minister stated this when he appeared before the House of Representatives Ad-hoc committee investigating the alleged loss of over 2.4 billion dollars in revenue from illegal sale of 48 million barrels of crude oil export from 2015 including crude oil exports from 2014 till date.
According to Malami, there were no reasonable facts to show that there were purported and urged the Committee to refer to the Nigeria National Petroleum Company, NNPCL.
