An orderly to a former speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Chiji Collins, has been found dead.
The deceased identified as Charles was discovered few days ago in a bush in Oguta Local Government Area
Charles, an inspector of police, was kidnapped few weeks ago with a driver in the Ohaji/ Egbema area and later gathered that they were driving in a Hilux and another vehicle abductors intercepted and took them to an unknown destination.
The driver was said to have been later discovered dead while Charles whereabouts remained unknown until few days ago when his body was found in a decomposing state.
A village source said “the lifeless body of Charles was found in a bush few days ago”.
Some of his colleagues are pained over the killing of the police Inspector who hailed from the Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
Imo Police spokesman, Henry Okoye, confimed the incident, adding that the Command has commenced investigation to apprehend the killers.
