
An accountability advocate, Hamzat Lawal, has described Mallam Nuhu Ribadu’s appointment as National Security Adviser (NSA) a renewed hope for Nigeria, applauding President Bola Tinubu for the giant stride.
Mallam Lawal stated that the appointment demonstrates President Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s security apparatus.
He expressed optimism that Mallam Ribadu will bring his wealth of experience, expertise, and a proven track record in the field of intelligence as an outstanding and highly respected retired police officer to restructuring the nation’s security architecture.

Lawal expressed belief that Ribadu’s reputation for fostering collaboration among various security agencies would enhance the nation’s ability to address emerging threats, promote diplomacy, and ensure the safety of citizens both at home and abroad.
