
Two more pilgrims from Kaduna State have passed away during their hajj rites in Saudi Arabia, Ibrahim Giwa the special assistant to the agency’s executive secretary stated.
Although the cause of death has not been confirmed, the pilgrims has been identified as Bashir Umar Sambo from Kubau Local Government and Sulaiman Abubakar (Unguwan Lalli) from Igabi Local Government Areas of the state.
Adding to the number of deaths from Kaduna state pilgrims in Saudi Arabia to a total of four cases.
The leader of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON medical team, Usman Galadima, urged elderly and ill pilgrims to avoid visiting the Jamarat the site of t6he stoning of the devil to reduce the mortality rate.
Ibrahim Giwa who expressed his sympathy with the families of the deceased, prayed to Allah to grant the deceased Jannah (paradise) and accept them as martyrs.
